What Counts as an Emergency Sign Repair?

What Happens When You Call

The first job on an emergency callout is making the site safe, full stop, before anything else happens. If there's a live electrical fault, exposed wiring or a sign that's arcing, we can isolate the power ourselves on site under our Registered Electrical Contractor licence, so the site isn't sitting live and dangerous while everyone waits on someone else to arrive. Any electrical repair work beyond that make-safe step is generally subcontracted out to a licensed electrician, but the site doesn't stay unsafe in the meantime.

From there we assess the structure and either reinstate what's there or rebuild the footing or fixing properly if it's failed. Because Peak Install holds a registered building practitioner licence in-house, that structural sign-off happens on the spot rather than waiting on a third party.

How fast we're there depends on distance and what the job needs, getting a crane truck or EWP into position takes longer than sending a van, but as a general guide we're typically on site within two to three hours of the call.
